Traditional music from Europe is the main theme for Fréa Records, the label with the biggets number of releases. Ranging from the steel voices of the singers of Finnish Värttinä to the passionate flamenco of Amparo Cortés, contemporary jazz-folk from the Breton band Ti Jaz en innovative klezmer, Fréa Records will always surprise you. The Folk Classics as well as the Celtophile series (in cooperation with Green Linnet) are a part of this label as well. The Folk Classics are re-releases of older titles with European folk music. The original mix nor the sequence of the tracks is changed. Where possible we also use the original covers, with the addition of extra information or translations.
